‘England For Glory’ – Daz Sims and Paul Hobbs Raising Money For Variety

England For Glory

Darren “Daz” Sims and Paul Hobbs, from Bristol, have joined forces to combine their love of football and their desire to help charity.

With Paul behind the lyrics and Daz behind the mic, who also recored and mixed the song, they’ve come up with a song to spur England to victory in the upcoming UEFA Euro 2016.

Each download of the song, ‘England For Glory’, will count towards the song rising in the charts, with proceeds from sales going to children’s charity, Variety.

The video was shot at The King’s Head in Bedminster Down, with live footage taken from the Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare, at Daz’s Rock 4 Charity concert, on April 1 this year.

Since 2007, Daz and his team have raised over £250,000 for various good causes.

You can download ‘England For Glory’ from iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

About the author

There’s a lot of music out there - good music. At Essentially Pop our remit is that we cover music that deserves to be heard, with a particular focus on independent artists. That doesn't mean we won't cover your old favourites - rather we hope to give you some new favourites as well.

We no longer accept unpaid PR agency work. We believe the creative arts have value, and this includes writing. As always, we will write about artists who contact us - or who we contact - for free - but we can no longer work free of charge for PR agencies. We work hard, we put in a lot of hours writing, and we ask that you respect that. Contact us for our very reasonable rates.
