The self titled debut album from Better Enemies is an upbeat, catchy pop/rock record full of guitar riffs and catchy choruses.
The album refers on several occasions to the idea of breaking free from the doldrums of daily life and never giving into the feeling that you can’t achieve your dreams. These feelings coming directly from the band members own experiences themselves, therefore lending a sense of honesty to the record. A varied 10 track album full of dynamics that translates into an exciting live show.

‘Get Me Out’ was chosen as the lead single from the album due to the immediate nature of the track. It’s fast-paced, full of energy but also full of meaningful lyrics. Get Me Out, is a good introduction to the band as newcomers and also an accurate representation of how much energy they offer from their live show.

Better Enemies are a 4-piece energetic pop rock band from Aberdeen. Jamie Mackie, David Temple, Chris Sutherland and Rhys Jones combine to create a fast-paced, guitar driven sound that draws influence from bands such as Biffy Clyro and Twin Atlantic.

Coming together in 2012 under the name Suburban Saints, the group quickly established themselves within the Aberdeen scene and released an 11 track album, a string of singles and even completing a month long international tour in South Africa. In the summer of 2015 the recording of a new record and a new sound brought about the change of name and the birth of Better Enemies.
