Former R&B artist, BeckwithJP has moved into singer songwriting, with the hauntingly beautiful ‘Can’t Stop Loving You’, the lead track from his self-titled EP.Â
‘Can’t Stop Loving You’, accompanied by a moving music video, is a breathtakingly gorgeous song showcasing the gentle vocal style of the artist.
‘Can’t Stop Loving You’ is a song about lost love, and was written and recorded less than an hour after a friend announced that he and his wife were going to get divorced. It’s a heart-breaking story, and BeckwithJP hopes it will speak to those who listen. Inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran and Tom Odell, ‘Can’t Stop Loving You’ features BeckwithJPs bluesy vocals, and a folky acoustic style. It’s a combination of light and dark that works well, and will be sure to see him make his mark in the singer songwriter genre, just as he did in R&B.
