London based artist, Fifi Rong is all kinds of right with her new release set to excite fans at O2 Academy Islington, London 28 April 2016.
Part of China’s top 10 most popular new artists of 2014, Fifi has also been nominated Best Electronic Music Artist. The eccentric and honest-worded artist has collaborated with the likes of Tricky, Phaeleh, Skepta and Yello.
She has received play time and great support from The 405, Clash, Fader Magazine, Hype Magazine, Pigeon and Planes, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1 Extra and BBC Radio 6 Music.
Fifi Rong is a mixture of Hip Hop, Jazz and Dub, with a Lana Del Rey esque feel to her music.
The international stand-out live performer has headlined shows across the UK, Europe and China/Hong Kong. Her much anticipated EP, ‘Violently Silently’ was released December 2015. Following on from that her new EP ‘Forbidden Desire’ is set to be released on 29 April 2016, during a special release show at the 02 Academy this Thursday.
