This week’s Tradiio artist is Nylon Ostrich, a band from Croydon, South London.

Formed in 2011, the Indie Rock band comprises Guy Lancefield on Vocals and Guitar, Jake Lowe on Guitar, Harvey Godden on Bass, and Harvey Ludlow playing Drums. They released their EP, ‘Four Letter Words’, in September 2015. Three of their songs, title track ‘Four Letter Words’, ‘Stay’, and ‘Take It In’, featured in Tradiio’s Best of January Playlist, with all three of their songs, as well as ‘Battle Scars’, making Tradiio’s track of the week lists, in December and January. As a consequence of their popularity, Nylon Ostrich are part of Tradiio’s “watch” list for February.

Tradiio has been in the news this week, featuring in Forbes magazine, in an article about the future of the music industry.

“The internet has democratized the way artists create and share music, but now we need to democratize their opportunities to make money.” Miguel Leite, Tradiio

We found Nylon Ostrich on Tradiio, and invested – for free – in their songs, ‘T’, and ‘Maybe We Were Born to Ruin’, both of which can be found on their ‘Four Letter Words’ EP. The band is playing at Scream Lounge, Croydon, on April 9. Tickets are available here. Check out Nylon Ostrich on TwitterFacebookYoutubeInstagram and their website, where you can buy their music and merchandise. ‘Four Letter Words’ is also available to download from iTunes.
