Take a ‘Road Trip’ With Giulia’s New Single

Giulia 2

Italian singer songwriter Giulia made headlines last year when she was chosen as the voice of World Earth Day. Since then she’s signed to M:89 Records, and releases her single, ‘Road Trip’ today. The song will also be issued in Italy, through Universal Music.

Taken from the deluxe version of Giulia’s debut album, ‘Raze Me To The Ground’, which will be released on May 20, ‘Road Trip’ is a Country/Rock song imbued with pop elements that give it a catchy, eminently listenable quality. It’s accompanied by a video shot during a live performance at London’s Metropolis.

Giulia collaborated in London with Nashville’s Don Mescall to write and produce ‘Raze Me To The Ground’, and the album amply demonstrates the pair’s obvious musical chemistry. Songs such as ‘Turn Your Light On’, ‘Radio Junky’, ‘Love, Love, Love’, and of course, ‘Road Trip’, illustrate how far Giulia has come on her musical journey.

Giulia has many more strings to her bow: she also owns her own couture fashion line, Anna Sammorone, which boasts among its celebrity fans, actress Blake Lively and Italian Fashionista, Chiara Ferragani. She first caught the attention of the UK when she supported Anastasia at her concert last year at London’s O2, and moved into the global spotlight when her song, ‘Turn Your Light On’, was used as the anthem for World Earth Day 2015. It’s no wonder that 2016 is shaping up to be an even bigger year for Giulia!

‘Road Trip’ is out today 29 January through M:89 Records, with the deluxe version of ‘Raze Me To The Ground’ out on 20 May.
