With a sound that skilfully blends soul, R&B and jazz, 22 year old New York based vocalist Raveena sees herself as a feminine force to be reckoned with. Her debut single, 'You Give Me That', a romantic yet sharp jazzy number, brings to mind the smooth sounds of Sade, with the edge of Lauryn Hill.

Raveena has proclaimed herself “Princess of the L.E.S” – paying homage to her surroundings of the Lower East Side of New York – and exudes a refreshing self-assuredness. Weighing on themes of submissiona and surrender, Raveena’s breathy delivery leads ‘You Give Me That’ into the territory of seduction, without ever straying into the overtly sexual, giving the listener a profoundly open experience, with a mature sound unusual in a debut single.
