Brit Nominee Pixie Lott Releases Single for 25th Birthday

Popstar Pixie Lott, originally from Brentwood, Essex, has released a new single, ‘What Now’ featuring WSTRN’s Akelle Charles. The singer-songwriter and actress released the soulful, R&B track in celebration of her 25th birthday last week.

The Brit nominated artist has had three top selling studio albums, including her debut album ‘Turn it up’ in 2009, which sold a notable 1.4 million copies worldwide.

Then in 2014 the self-titled album, ‘Pixie Lott’ dropped – following her 2011 second studio album, ‘Young Foolish Happy’. The albums feature the smash hits, ‘All About Tonight’, and ‘Nasty’.

Pixie Lott is currently travelling between London, New York and LA to work on her fourth studio album. She is also starring as Holly Golightly in Truman Capote’s ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’. Performances in London’s Royal Haymarket Theatre begin June 29th 2016.

Lott said of the role,

“It’s such an iconic role and a dream role for me – she’s amazing! I have not performed on a West End stage since I was 12 and performed in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ while studying at Italia Conti.”

Besides her career in music and acting, Pixie enjoys raising money for charity, including her work with these organisations that are close to her heart: Rays of Sunshine and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
