Penrose Sings Us a ‘Melody’ With New Single Release

Melody 3

It’s finally out! Penrose launched their latest single, ‘Melody’, last night at Dublin’s O2 Academy.

‘Melody’, is a boppy dance track, very much an ear-wormer. When we reviewed Penrose’s EP, ‘Live For The Dream’ back in August, we had this to say:

‘Melody’ leads in with a stomping beat and an Ed Sullivan-style intro, the punchy vocals very reminiscent of Oasis and The Beatles and lyrically a lot of fun with lines like “if you’re gonna be lazy, be lazy with me, come drink your tea”. We defy anyone not to tap their foot or nod their head to this song.

What more can we say – except that ‘Melody’ is now available on iTunes. Penrose will be playing at The Button Factory, Dublin, on 28 October, and The Venue, Ratoath, on 30 October.
