Lights is a singer, songwriter and synth enthusiast from Canada, whose second album ‘Siberia’ (released in 2011) was a strikingly ambitious album which turned many heads her way. She’s followed it up with her new album, ‘Little Machines’, and has released the single ‘Up We Go’ on October 9.

Lights’ previous two studio albums, The Listening (2009) and Siberia (2011) feature the pop hits, ‘Drive My Soul’, ‘Ice’, ‘February Air’ and ‘Banner’. In 2009 she received the Juno Award for Best New Artist, and to date has over 1.2 million Facebook likes, 607,000 Twitter followers, 56 million YouTube hits, and 390,000 Instagram followers.

‘Up We Go’ is accompanied by a hilarious video set in a lift (or is it???!) with Lights seemingly oblivious to everyone else who enters. Watch for the burglar, the amorous couple, and the animal-headed businessmen!

Find Lights online on her website, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. ‘Up We Go’, as well as the album ‘Little Machines’ and all her other music, is available on iTunes.
