Ilana J Releases Single in Support of Angelman Syndrome

Ilana J 1

British singer/songwriter Ilana J, whose debut EP, ‘Free Falling From The Ground Up’ was critically acclaimed, is back with a new single, ‘Angel’.

Released to help her friend Kim, whose 12 year old son has Angelman Syndrome, can be purchased from iTunes. Angelman Syndrome is a rare neuro-development condition affecting 1 in 15,000 live births. Ilana says,

“I have known little Josh since he was a toddler and have watched him grow over the years. Josh is a joy to be around and he has a wonderful nature, but with no treatment currently available, he and his family face many challenges both now and in the years ahead.

The Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) firmly believes that with the right research effective treatments and an eventual cure can be found. This strongly-held belief drives their fundraising efforts and they are FAST approaching a cure for Angelman Syndrome.”

All proceeds will be donated to FAST.

Ilana has a fundraising site to help Josh. You can visit Ilana J online on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and her website. Listen to Ilana J on SoundCloud.
