The Sherlocks Announce New Single and Tour News

The Sherlocks

After playing to a totally packed out tent at the recent Reading and Leeds Festival, Sheffield four-piece The Sherlocks present their new single, ‘Heart of Gold’.

Produced by Gavin Monaghan, ‘Heart of Gold’ packs a powerful indie punch, with more than just a passing nod to the band’s inspirations, who include The Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Libertines, Oasis and The Jam.

A catchy song about young love and the decline of a relationship, ‘Heart of Gold’ shows how far the band has come in such a short time. The song will be out on 6 November. The Sherlocks are touring in support of their new release. With their debut single, ‘Live for the Moment’ peaking at number 91 in Official UK Singles Chart and the second, ‘Escapade’, reaching number 45, it’s anticipated ‘Heart of Gold’ will also make the charts.

‘Heart of Gold’ is out on November 6 on the Blue Records label.
