Dreamy folk duo Flora Cash are an American/Swedish pair who started life on online. Cole is originally from Minneapolis and Shpresa from Stockholm. They discovered each other on SoundCloud one day, and knew instantly they were meant to collaborate talents.
The pair worked on ‘This Breeze’, while they stayed at Shpresa’s parents house over the summer.
The duo said,
“we wrote and recorded ‘This Breeze’ during a very transitional time in our lives. We had just gotten back to Sweden after having lived in the U.S. for a year. For one of us, the feelings were of ‘coming home’ and the cosiness of a long awaited reunion with family and old friends. For the other, the feelings were of ‘leaving home behind’ and reflecting on the distance that suddenly separated one from the very same kind of people.”
The song can be described as a brewed combination of their emotional diversity; which has concreated itself into a delightful melody.
“If you love dreamy folk songs in the tradition of Angus And Julia Stone or First Aid Kit you’ll easily fall for that sunny little gem.” – Nothing But Hope And Passion

Their new EP, ‘This Breeze’ will be part of an exciting time for the band as they’ve recently been signed to Swedish indie label, ‘Icons Creating Evil Art’. The EP will be released in early autumn.
