Lola Lamour – ‘Are You Looking For Love?’

Lola Lamour1

Vintage icon Lola Lamour is back with her newest single from her EP, ‘Looking For Love’.

With a style that suggests that she is living in the past – the singer in fact admits that she has always been influenced by vintage styles, with her house furnished in retro style, right down to the plug sockets – it’s a sophisticated sound that transports the listener back to the big band days. This is nowhere more apparent than when she is on stage with her 13-piece band, with whom she performs swing, soul, rockabilly and blues and more.

‘Are You Looking For Love?’ is a modern take on the sounds of the Swing Era, and is inspired by Peggy Lee and Ella Fitzgerald.
