Introducing: Mulu Lizi

Mulu Lizi1

Mulu Lizi (pronounced as it looks – moo-loo Lizzy), from Rochester New York are quite literally Men of Fire.

Named for a star in the constellation of Libra, which means, “Man of fire”, the band are Art Zimmer (Guitar and Vox), Chris Zimmer on Bass Guitar and Vox, Steve Mackin on Lead Guitar and Kyle Craw on Drums.

Their debut album, ‘Men of Fire’, completed in April this year, came about after many months of writing, gigging and recording. They started writing it in 2013, with ‘Walking the Line’, the first track written, initially released as a single. This was later released as their first music video, in April last year, followed by ‘Baby Doll’, the video for which was released in September.

Early 2014 saw Mulu Lizi win a local Homegrown Music Showcase, and the band has since been interviewed and and featured in many publications, with their music played both domestically and internationally.

Currently the band are raising funds via Indiegogo towards the recording of their first full-length album, by way of unique or limited edition merchandise opportunities and exclusive experiences. If you’d like to help their quest, check out their Indiegogo site here.

You can find Mulu Lizi on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SoundCloud, and their website.
