We’ve reported before that Blitz Kids have announced they’re calling it a day. Guitarist Jono, said of the split,
“We have always said that we are friends, first and foremost, before a band. And it is as friends that we have reached this decision to end this incredible adventure that we started 8 years ago.”Â
This unfortunately has meant that their scheduled tour has had to be cancelled, with tickets refunded, and the band also have honourably bowed out of Breakout Festival in September, and Warped Tour in October. They will however be playing two final farewell shows in October!
Blitz Kids will be playing Manchester Academy 3 on 9th October, and The Dome, Tufnell Park, London, on 10th October. Tickets are on sale from today. You can buy tickets for Manchester here and tickets for London here.
