Beyond The Break – Pictures Of Losing Sleep EP

11114260_416481045180363_3422676015622428876_nThe new rock band, Beyond The Break, comprised of members of 21 Against, Catatonia, and Eleven came together in early 2015 to record a debut EP, Pictures Of Losing Sleep, set to be released on September 4th 2015 on 2p Records. Interestingly, the new album was recorded live to tape preserving its natural quality and will also be released on vinyl featuring the single, ‘The Way It Was’, which already has 25,000 organic plays in four weeks on Spotify.

The four song EP includes a fine blend of the alternative rock style songs like ‘The Way It Was’ and ‘Pictures Of Losing Sleep’, which boast a more ballad pop-punk style and melodic rock vocals that are reminiscent to alternative bands of the 90’s such as the Foo-Fighters and Collective Soul. The other songs ‘Mother Love’ and ‘Big Wait’ have a more fuzz rock riff guitar and raw angst driven vocal that brings out the more hard progressive style of the band.

Not only do they sound similar to the Foo Fighters, but Beyond The Break, will also be performing for the Foo Fighters fan club at the sold-out Foo’s Wembley pre-show party as well as a handful of other shows in their hometown of Llanelli, South Wales. In suspense of their new EP, Pictures Of Losing Sleep, coming out on September 4th 2015, Beyond The Break will also have a YouTube video of their new single ‘The Way It Was’ available for viewing now.
