Robyn Harvey – ‘You Don’t Understand’

Robyn Harvey

We’ve written about Robyn Harvey before, so she’ll need no introduction to regular readers. 17 years old and currently finishing her AS Levels at secondary school, Robyn has a soulful voice and has been described by Eagle3 Radio as being ‘a bit urban, poetic and singer/songwritery’. The live acoustic version of ‘You Don’t Understand’ has reached No1 in the EGH Radio Top 20 chart for June, and is gaining some momentum. Written just after the death her grandfather, when she was only 13, Robyn couldn’t bring herself to record it until last year, but we’re glad she has. ‘You Don’t Understand’ is haunting and melancholy. Simply beautiful.
