Belle Roscoe Set to Rock the Troubadour!

Matty and Julia Gurry, aka Belle Roscoe, are an Australian sibling duo from Melbourne who’ve been building a solid underground fanbase in Europe and Australia for the past few years.

With a new wave indie sound, combined with the sorts of harmonies only siblings can manage, they’re set to make a splash with a huge UK launch at London’s Troubadour Club on 20 May.

Belle Roscoe combine contemporary sounds and production with classic retro writing styles. Described as a cross between Arcade Fire and Fleetwood Mac, you can actually hear far more influences in their music, including Neil Young, Bowie, Springsteen, Elbow, and Fleet Foxes.

The hotly tipped duo will take to the stage at The Troubadour as part of a promotional tour which will also see them travel to other parts of the UK due to popular demand from fans. The importance of the venue and the chance to play there is not lost on the pair:

“The Troubadour is one of the most loved, iconic and intimate venues in the UK, and was played by industry legends like Bob Dylan. We’re very excited to go there and show some of London’s most ardent music fans what we’ve got.”
