Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, turns 28 today, and the Mother Monster celebrated ahead of the event with a night in New York last night, and joked, “I made it past 27!”
Gaga has made it clear that she intends to live a long life, saying in an interview with New York radio station Z100 last year,
“I want to show people that I will last past 27, and I will last longer, and so will you.
“I want to change this code in the atmosphere that in order to be remembered, I must die young. In order to be remembered as a legend, I must be dead first. This is unhealthy.”
The G.U.Y. singer tweeted a fan’s instagram video from last night, and was clearly very happy:
